Our goal

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we’ve done

  • Checked every page against WCAG 2.2 A and AA with automated testing, on desktop and phone screen sizes
  • Text and buttons have enough color contrast to be read easily
  • Links in text are underlined, and every link, button and form field has a clear name
  • You can move through the site with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined
  • Each page has one main heading, headings in order, and a main content area that screen readers can jump to
  • Images have text descriptions
  • Pages work at 200% zoom and on small screens without scrolling sideways
  • Our contact and quote forms have labels and clear error messages

Content from other companies

Some parts of the website come from other services, such as the Google reviews widget, embedded YouTube videos, HomeAdvisor reviews, the chat and WhatsApp buttons and Google reCAPTCHA on our forms. We choose and set these up with accessibility in mind, but we don’t control their code, so some of them may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If one of them gets in your way, contact us and we’ll give you the same information or service another way.
